Episode 2a has David Plate and William Klaus (with a dash of Jason Barrera). This week we start with Jim Morrison and The Doors, then we travel into Mordor and face some shadows.
In Episode 2b William and I continue talking after David has to go.
Episode 2c is funny because it was only supposed to be a 5 minute conversation. I needed David to re-record an important part of his story that got cut off when my Skype dropped the call. It should have been a 30 second to a minute gap to fill at most. But, we quickly got off onto an hour conversation. Luckily, as the name of the show suggests, I have learned to Always Record these talks. Now you get to enjoy it as well.
I filled in as guest-host for 42 Minutes again, this time to turn the tables on one of the hosts, Douglas Bolles. We just released a book of his, Winter's Labyrinth from SyncBookPress. It's a great read, be sure to check it out.
Recently, Bill Klaus asked me if I would be interested in helping to create a new audio series that was more conversation based, instead of the classic interview style that so many podcasts and radio shows use. Since he and I had both had conversations with David Plate that were so good that we wished we had recorded them, we're tentatively calling this thing "Always Record." The talking is loose and unpretentious. The topics are varied. And, ultimately, I think many of you will find this enjoyable. Click here to enter: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/120495
Due to scheduling international guests, there were two episodes of 42 Minutes on May 1st (one in the morning and one in the evening). I was asked to fill in for Will Morgan on both of these shows. As an extra treat, Justin Morgan joined me in hosting and we had an awesome little May Day coup.
